Each tutu features 12 layers of fine net, supported by a hoop to help maintain its characteristic shape. The layers are individually hand-tacked, creating a strong, stable structure designed to preserve the tutu's elegant line and professional appearance on stage.
Unlike our exceptionally lightweight Japanese tutus, which are often constructed without a hoop, our Russian tutus have a firmer and more structured construction. This gives them the impressive, crisp silhouette that makes the traditional platter tutu so striking under stage lighting.
