Mother Ginger

Mother Ginger is one of the most amazing costumes in the whole Nutcracker ballet.

The top and the tutu skirt are made with ocean blue satin, and decorated with flower appliques. There is a lighter blue front insert in the bodice, decorated with rhinestones. Long sleeves are attached to the nude straps, and also embellished with flowers.

The pink tulle skirt features a pink overlay made of pink lace.

The skirt is made in a way to allow the Polichinelles or Bon Bons to hide under the skirt!
